Plaxico Burress wants to take his talents to Philly

Umenyiora is slated to earn $3.975 million next season in the final year of a seven-year deal he signed in 2005. He had nine sacks in nine games in 2011.

Now 2012 superbowl jerseys, maybe the Eagles will be in the mix. According to Howard Eskin of WIP in Philadelphia, he spoke to Burress at Super Bowl XLVI and Burress told him he wants to play for the Eagles – “badly.”

Andy Reid and the Eagles have a history of finding success with second-chance stories. Look no further than Michael Vick for evidence. But it didn’t happen and Burress landed with the New York Jets.

Reese said he expects tight ends Jake Ballard and Travis Beckum to start the season on the physically unable to perform list. Both players tore knee ligaments in the Super Bowl.

Many speculated the Philadelphia Eagles would be the landing spot for Plaxico Burress when he got sprung from state prison last June.

No dancing robots and cheesy metal jams authentic victor cruz jersey, Fox's preferred method of audience torture … no celeb fawning from Joe Buck cheap hakeem nicks jersey, who spends a chunk of the game pointing out A-Rod and Miley Cyrus and Happy Sandler and the likes.

Burress could not replace DeSean Jackson if the speedster departs, but he could help give Vick a bigger target to pair with Jackson and similarly speedy Jeremy Maclin. Stay tuned.

“We’re in the early stages of the evaluation 2012 super bowl jerseys,” Reese said. “Osi is under contract. We’ll discuss everything as a staff and we’ll discuss all issues that could possibly come up for us and we’ll come up with a game plan. We’ll move on, day by day, and see how things work out for us.”

Reese praised the team’s practice squad and suggested some of those players could fill voids at tight end and other positions.

XLVI comes down to a final Brady mortar soaring toward the endzone wes welker jersey, a nail-shredder for sure. So why is it taking so long for Peter King to issue his annual proclamation of "Best Super Bowl Ever?"
